we know that

when a coin is flipped

the probability of getting head is [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex]

we are given

total number of outcomes =140

so, number of times head comes = probability of getting head*(total number of outcomes)

number of times head comes is [tex] \frac{1}{2} *140 [/tex]

number of times head comes is 70......Answer
