Use Cavalieri’s principle to compare the volume of the triangular prism and rectangular prism.

If Cavalieri’s principle is to be used to compare the volume of the triangular prism and that of the rectangular prism, the volume of the two prisms will be assumed  equal if 1) the sections made by the planes parallel to their respective bases are equal; and 2) if  these sections made by the planes have the same distance from the bases.
