Given data show that 129 college students out of 192 have part time jobs. proportion p = 129/192 = 0.672 The estimated population proportion is p* = 0.672 Standard error = squareroot of [p*(1 - p*)/n] = 0.034 Value for 95% confidence interval = 1.96 margin of error = 1.96 x 0.034 = 0.067
