Animalia and Plantae are 2 groups of organisms with similar characteristics because they are both living things. They both need water to survive, and they both compete for survival. Just like how lions battle over territory, that's what spider plants do. They use their leaves to reach over to each other and push each other all over the place, while lions use their claws and teeth to battle.
