If everyone in your country, or your world, population is sick, your country's GDP per capita as well as GDP and economy will be affected because your country and your world has to pay for the sickness for everyone to be healed. Your GDP and GDP per capita, is one of the main parts of your economy and your country can fall apart. As well as your world too.
