Mg2Si + 2H2O → 2Mg(OH)2 + SiH4

So, moles of Mg2Si = 34.9 / 76.7  = 0.455

So, mole of SiH4 form =  0.455   (according to the equation)

Mass of SiH4 =  0.455 x 32.12 = 14.6 g
