Explain the significance of Jefferson’s repeal of the whiskey tax.

The best answer for this would be:

 

That the significance of the repeal of the tax was to lessen the rebellion of the people. The Whiskey Rebellion was caused because the people to pay for increased taxes which they did not agree on. Jefferson claimed that the bureaucracy was unnecessary.
