If an element has a mass number of 208 and an atomic number of 83, how many neutrons does the element have?

Hello There!

To work out neutrons you have to subtract the atomic number from the mass.
Mass = 208
Atomic number = 83
Neutrons = Mass - Atomic Number
Neutrons = 208 - 83
Neutrons = 125.
It has 125 neutrons.
