News radio repeats stories so often throughout the day so that everyone can hear them. Not everyone listens to the radio at the same time in the day so that they catch the same news report. This is why they repeat the same story so everyone can learn new information once they tune in. The audience is constantly changing since most people listen to the radio in their
cars.
