To maximize learning, a CS + UCS should be
presented on a(n) continuous schedule.
In here, CS means conditional stimulus while UCS is the
unconditioned stimulus. Taking for example, let us imagine that the smell of
food is the unconditioned stimulus, the feeling of hunger in response to that
specific smell is a unconditioned response, and then the sound of the whistle
is the conditioned stimulus.
