There are several reasons that illustrate the importance of understanding the bacteria communication for humans.

From these reasons:
1- We get to discover more about the natural world around us
2- We can use this information to understand how bacteria spread and, thus, we can find ways to prevent the spreading of several diseases.
3- We can use the way of communication in developing our technology. Example of this is : bi- luminescence technology
