The organelle responsible in increasing quantities in the
liver cells of an individual who have abused other drugs or even alcohol in a
regular basis is the mitochondria. It is because if a person has abused alcohol
or drugs, the liver cell of the individual will likely have an increase
quantities of mitochondria.
