The movie “Gifted” used the system called “The Trachtenberg System”. This is a system of rapid calculation. The developer of this system is a Russian Jewish engineer, his name was Jakow Trachtenberg. The system was named after him. It is said that he developed this system while he was being held at a Nazi Camp, and he developed it in order to keep his mind off of the situation.
