Plug in 8 in the place of X in both equations.
f(x) = 2(8) + 2
f(x) = 16 + 2
f(x) = 18

g(x) = -7(8)
g(x) = -56

Then put f(x) over g(x). You should now have ...
[tex] \frac{18}{-56} [/tex]
Simplify this fraction by  dividing the top and bottom by 2
Your final answer is
[tex] -\frac{9}{28} [/tex]
