What was the Colombian Exchange and how did it effect the native americans and europeans?

Well..... The Colombian Exchange was a worldwide  transfer of goods such as animals and plants. This trade was between Europe and North America in 1492. Unfortunately the exchange brought diseases such as smallpox malaria and measles. This also lead to lots of death to both the natives and the Europeans.
