Jam is made from 4 parts fruit and 3 parts sugar. How much sugar is needed to make jam from 1.5kg of fruit.. show workings

Well to solve this we need to dilute the sugar measurement sence the fruit count is lower, so first find the dilution amount in the fruit
4/1.5= 2.6
so to find the sugar you divide 3 by 2.6
3/2.6= 1.1

So you would need 1.1kg of sugar to make the jam!
