The average life span can go up to 80 years. Their predators are foxes, badgers, and coyotes. The tortoise is different from a turtle because a tortoise lives on land and the turtle resides in water mostly. Some tortoise live in water, but mostly on land. They live in all types of environments like deserts to swamps.
