Answer: 134 cars

Since Jeremy charges $15.00 per car and he plans to earn at least $2000, if we let 'x' be the number of cars, we will have:

[tex]15x=2000[/tex]

Solving for x:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 15x=2000 \\ x=\frac{2000}{15} \\ x=133.33 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Since cars can only be counted as whole numbers, Jeremy would need to wash 134 cars to earn at least $2000
