Our body has a tiny part of the brain called Hypothalamus, this part of the brain, along with many other functions, will also act like a thermostat, by increasing our temperature, with shivers for example, and also it can cool down out temperature, decreasing it by releasing sweat. Since our body needs to adapt to many types of environments, we also need to adapt our temperature, so that our organism function properly.
