Step 2

Find the height

[tex]\begin{gathered} 40=(\frac{4+12}{2})\times h \\ 40=\frac{16}{2}\times h \\ 80=16h \\ h=\frac{80}{16} \\ h=5m \end{gathered}[/tex]

Hence, the height = 5m
