The slope intercept formula y= mx+b .

y= mx+b

We  already know the slope which is -3 and plugin 4 for x and 3 for y. Here we are trying to find the y-intercept which is b.

3=  -3(4)+b

3=  -12+b

+12        +12

  15        =      b

Here  is how it is written in slope- intercept form:

y= -3x+15
