Answer:

Width = 2w , Length = w+5 , perimeter = 40

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (Length + Width)

P= 2 (L + w)

40 = 2 [ (w+5) + (2w) ]

40 = 2 ( 3w+5)

40= 6w +10

6w= 40 – 10

6w= 30

w = 30/6

w = 5

Width = 2w = 2(5) = 10

Length = w + 5 = 5+5 = 10
