3x + 2y = 8

x=2 can someone please explain this I beg of u

So if you multiple the 3 by 3 you get 6. Then you subtract by 6 on both sides. Which makes the 8 = 2. Then you divide by 2 to get y by itself. So divide 2 from 2 and y=1. So y doesn’t really equal anything.
