Formula: y2 – y1/ x2 – x1

y2 = 10

y1 = 7

x2 = 1

x1 = 5

Equation: 10 – 7/ 1 – 5

10 – 7 = 3 ⬅️ Numerator

1 – 5 = –4 ⬅️ Denominator

Answer: 3/–4

Distance AB= root (1-5)^2-(10-7)^2
= root 16-9
= root 7
