The x-intercept of an equation is the value of x when y is set to be equal to zero. On the other hand, the y-intercept is the value of y when x is set to be equal to zero. From the equation,

x-intercept : 3x - 9y = 10.8
                      3x - 9(0) = 10.8
                        x = 3.6

y-intercept:
3x - 9y = 10.8
                     3(0) - 9y = 10.8
                       y = -1.2
