Let a be the length of its edge.

We know that, volume of a cube is

where, a is edge.

Volume of a cube = 1.5 m³

[tex]a^3=1.5[/tex]

Taking cube root on both sides, we get

[tex]a=\sqrt[3]{1.5}[/tex]

[tex]a=1.14471424[/tex]

Approximate the value to the nearest tenth (one decimal place) of a meter.

[tex]a\approx 1.1[/tex]

Therefore, the length of the edge of the cube is about 1.1 meters.
