x=1/2 or 0.5 & y=1

x intercept (value of x when y is 0)
So plug in 0 for y
2x+0=1
2x=1
Divide both sides by 2
x=1/2

Y intercept (value of y, when x is 0)
2(0)+y=1
y=1
