Let the missing number be x .

Then :-

[tex]4(11 + 7) = x + 28[/tex]

[tex]4 \times 18 = x + 28[/tex]

[tex]72 = x + 28[/tex]

[tex]x + 28 = 72[/tex]

[tex]x = 72 - 28[/tex]

[tex]x = 44[/tex]

Therefore , 4 ( 11 + 7 ) = 44 + 28 .
