- 4 ≤ 11 - 3x ; Solve for x

In these types of questions, we simply use "≤" as an equal sign when solving.

Subtract 11 from both sides.

-4 - 11 ≤ -3x

Simplify.

-15 ≤ -3x

Divide both sides by -3.

{Due to the fact that we divided both sides by a negative, we have to change the symbol.

-15 / -3 ≥ -3x / -3

Simplify.

5 ≥ x

So, x ≥ 5

Our answer is : a. x ≥ 5
