This is a matter of interpreting the "word" expression - subtracting the sum of t and s from r gives us [tex]r-(s+t)=r-s-t,[/tex] and then dividing by u gives us the answer of [tex]\boxed{\frac{r-s-t}{u}}.[/tex]
