The compound, HClO4, dissociates into H+ and ClO4- when dissolved in water. The pH of the solution is the negative logarithm of the concentration of H+ in molar. The concentration of H+ from the solution is also 2.6M.
                                  pH = -log[2.6]
                                  pH = -0.415
