In oder to find the median you have arrange the numbers from least to greatest. Once you have done so, you would cancel one value from the left and from the right each time until you either get 2 numbers or 1. If you 2 which in this case you do, you would add 21+23 and divide by 2. So 44/2= 22, making this your median.
