Answer

given radicals

convert them into simplest radical form

a) √49

  √49 = \sqrt{7\times 7}

           = 7

b)  ∛40

      ∛40 = [tex]\sqrt[3]{2\times 2\times 2\times 5}[/tex]

              = 2 ∛5

c) √242

   √49 = \sqrt{2\times 11\times 11}
