A pair of pant and a t-shirt cost $25. If the pant cost $7.28 more than the shirt, how much did the pant cost?

$16.14 =pants

Explanation:

$25-$7.28=17.72

17.72/2 =8.86

8.86+7.28=16.14

25-16.14=8.86 shirt
