Answer:

x = 3 + √13, 3 - √13 or

6.61,  -0.61  to the nearest hundredth.

Step-by-step explanation:

y = x^2 - 6x - 4

x^2 - 6x - 4 = 0

(x - 3)^2 - 9 - 4 = 0

(x - 3)^2 =  13

x - 3 = +/- √13

x = 3 + √13,  3 - √13.
