integrate each term using the power rule

∫(a[tex]x^{n}[/tex]) = [tex]\frac{a}{n+1}[/tex][tex]x^{n+1}[/tex]

∫(x² + 3x + 5 ) dx

= [tex]\frac{1}{3}[/tex]x³ + [tex]\frac{3}{2}[/tex]x² + 5x + c

where c is the constant of integration
