x=-15 i think this is right i may be wrong though

2x + 3y = 45  ............................(1)

x + y  =  10    Multiply by -3:-

-3x - 3y = -30  ..........................(2)

Add equations :- (1) + (2) :-

-x = 15

x = -15  (answer)
