Answer:

-1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

multiply 1/2 by 6 to get an even denominator. the equation then becomes

(3/12+6/12)-11/12

Simplify what is in perenthesises to 3/4-11/12

Again simplify the denominator by multiplying by 3

the equation then becomes 9/12-11/12

Divide everything by 2

4.5/6 - 5.5/6

4.5-5.5= -1

12/2 =6

put -1 over the demoninator of 6
