Answer:. Mass of the object = 15kg

Explanation:

Given the velocity of the object as 8 m/s

Energy is given as 480 j

Let m be the mass of the object

Using the formula

E = (1/2) m v^2

m = 2E/v^2

m = (2 × 480)/ 8^2

= 960/64

= 15kg
