we have that
x+5/ [(x+6)(x-1)]

we know that
the denominator can not be zero
so
(x+6)(x-1)=0
x+6=0-----> x=-6
x-1=0----> x=1
the appropriate restrictions for the variable are
x=-6
and
x=1

the answer is
x=-6
x=1
