A speed boat is traveling at 100 km/hr. How many hours will it take for the boat to cover a distance of 115 km?

Use ratios and proportions to figure this out- 100km /1hr is equal to 115km/x(the number we're trying to figure out.) So, write this equation- 100x=115(1) Solve that equation(the answer is 1.15) and you get the answer to your question.
