We will have to convert this into a slope-intercept form.

First, let's flip the equation

12 = 4y + 3x

Let's now put the 4y outside and 12 inside, we will flip the signs.

4y= 3x+12

We will now divide both sides by 4.

y= [tex] \frac{3}{4}x[/tex]+ 3

Now we can find the y-intercept of the line.

The y-intercept of the line is 3.
