It is 62 degrees because the line is 180 degrees, and angleSPR is 118, so if you subtract 180 and 118, you get 62

We know that horizontally straight lines equal 180°, because a full circle equals 360°.

So, because we are given 118° and already know that the full measure is 180°, we can simply subtract 118° from 180° to get the measure of ∠QPR. 

180° - 118° = 62°

So, ∠QPR = 62°
