Area of the trapezoid = 1/2(b1 + b2) h

b1 = top base
b2 = bottom base
h =  height

so
A = 1/2(20 + 25)(15)
A = 1/2(45)(15)
A = 337.5

answer
B. 337.5 ft^2

Hello!

To find the area of a trapezoid you use the equation

[tex] A = \frac{a + b}{2} h [/tex]

A is area
a and b are the base length
h is height

Put in the values you know

[tex]A = \frac{20 + 25}{2} * 15[/tex]

Add

[tex]A = \frac{45}{2} * 15[/tex]

Divide

[tex]A = 22.5 * 15[/tex]

Multiply

A = 337.5

The answer is B) 337.5 ft squared

Hope this helps!
