The LCM of two numbers is SOMETIMES the product of the two numbers.

Example 1: 

The LCM of 3 and 4 is 12, and (3 x 4 = 12).

Example 2:

The LCM of 14 and 7 is 28, and (14 x 2 = 28) and (7 x 4 = 28).
